The Bridge Blend

The Bridge blend was inspired by UYC’s vision and mission to be a bridge from local public schools to the church and community resources. Bridge’s work by distributing weight and tension across connected structures allows people and resources to move safely from one side to another.

Studies show that 80–90% of public school students are not connected to a local church. We want to change that. We know that people from churches must cross the bridge first and offer tangible support and build relationships with students, parents, and the school.

We help churches identify the specific needs of a school and run beautiful and practical projects.

Provide training and staff support for church leaders to support student-led faith clubs, chaplaincy and coaching of sports teams, and teaching healthy relationship education.
Through this process, we see students “cross the bridge” from faith clubs or sports fields back to church youth groups or teen centers.

We have seen time and time again stories where a student discovers love and salvation in Christ at a school faith club or on a sports team and then starts attending the local church supporting the club, where their entire family is then able to attend and be transformed by the love and power of God through the local faith community.

All proceeds go towards investing and mentoring Gen Z & Gen Alpha in their relationship with Jesus Christ at public schools in San Diego.
