How the UYC Model Works

Building Bridges to Reach Young Lives for Christ

UYC partners with local churches to equip student leaders who take the gospel into public middle and high schools, shaping culture and transforming lives for Christ in the U.S. and abroad.

Campus Clubs

Since inception, UYC has reached 90,000 unique students through public school outreach. We average 2,500 students per week at voluntarily student-led faith clubs operating in seven cities, four US states, and three countries.

Chaplaincy

UYC comes alongside coaches and athletes for team chapels, pre-game meals, on-field optional prayers, and a summer sports camp in partnership with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). Since inception, close to 2,000 students attended summer sports camp on scholarships and hundreds more per year experience team chapels and pre-game talks from UYC staff.

Relationship Education

We reach 1,300 students each year with the transformational opportunity to align personal lifestyle choices with life goals and dreams. This happens year-round in California and South Carolina. We are pursuing additional funding that will allow us to reach an additional 500 students each year.

Tutoring

We have several campuses where students are supported by caring adults who give of their time, academic expertise, and life experiences.
